Questions and answers

How did you get my information?

From public records. Many wireless sites are registered with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and property ownership is listed in county records. We match the two to find landowners with a wireless site on their property.

What does Method Infrastructure buy?

The ground lease, an easement, or the land beneath a cell tower or rooftop wireless site, and cell towers themselves. We pay a lump sum.

Do I keep my land?

In most transactions, you keep ownership of your land. When we buy a lease or an easement, the land stays yours.

What happens to the cell tower?

The tower stays and the tenant keeps operating. Nothing changes on the ground.

How do you set your offer?

Our offers are based on your lease terms, the remaining term, and the current rent.

How does closing work?

Closings are handled through a title company. The terms in your written offer are the terms at the closing table.

Do you buy rooftop sites?

Yes. We acquire the leases and easements for wireless sites on rooftops, as well as for cell towers on land.

Do you buy towers?

Yes. We acquire towers and tower portfolios from independent owners and developers.

What do I need to get started?

A copy of your lease helps, but you don’t need it to start the conversation.

How do I know a letter or call really came from you?

Our emails come only from addresses ending in @methodinfra.com. You can also email us to confirm any letter or call came from us.
